Meet Yiying Lu, a bubbly Sydney designer who enjoys turning technological failures into an art form. She is responsible for one of the most iconic images circulating the world’s social media scene. Her illustration depicting a smiling white whale being lifted out of the ocean by a flock of little birds has spawned not only plenty of imitations but, incredibly, a huge fan base.

I think that dress also entitles her to win Australian Fashion Week.
