Who is Green Lantern?
According to Ain’t It Cool News, these guys are up for the role of Hal Jordan:
- Justin Timberlake
- Bradley Cooper
- Ryan Reynolds
- Jared Leto
- Michael Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds, 300)
- Henry Cavill (The Tudors. Also Wikipedia says he’s auditioned for every superhero role in the last 5 years)
I’m all about Cooper. Ryan Reynolds would also be great and him auditioning for this probably means a Deadpool flick is in doubt. Jared Leto is a great actor but he’s not really superhero blockbuster material. JT is such a weird choice. Like someone at DC’s mother-in-law is a fan. I can’t comment on the other guys.
Also some other weird rumors today of Nathan Fillion meeting at DC. I actually hope he’s considered for the Uncharted movie (although Avi Arad [Marvel] is doing that).
