daisymay: allthingspixar: ..and so the chase to become the first digitally animated film nominated for Best Picture begins. via Awards Daily. I really hope Up gets a nod for best picture…it will be leaps and bounds for the medium if it does, showing that it doesn’t matter how a film is made, but how it is received by the audience. It’s all about story! There are ten spots for Best Picture now. TEN. It is totally possible that this will happen. I’d be incredibly happy if it won.
