Had no idea about all the crap on DVDs… *adjusts hat and eyepatch*
HOWEVER, the pre-movie garbage on DVDs and, oh my GOD, on Blu-Ray is completely OUT OF CONTROL. Seriously. I do not need to see that anti-piracy warning in English, French and Swahili.
Let me get to the main menu and my movie…
Blu-ray pre-roll is fucking stupid sometimes. Like I really need a 3 minute display of how great Blu-ray is. And I remember when they used to make rental DVDs that were seperate to retail DVDs (sometimes 1 disc vs 2 disc) where the rental DVD had all the garbage on it, and the retail was pretty bare.
Not anymore, of course.
