This week Amazon had a sale on trade paperbacks and graphic novels. About a week before it started, I had coincidentally done an order for a couple of books - The Buffy Season 8 TBs I don’t have and All-Star Superman Vol 2. The order was held up by my pre-order of Keith and the Girl’s first book.

While the order was still open (but again, before the sale) I tried to add the 5 released Astonishing X-Men books to my existing order. Because you have to actually complete the order to see if they can be combined I had to go through to the checkout. They couldn’t be combined, so I canceled the second order.

Just fantastic. I’m gonna break this for the benefit of my friends who don’t 0-day the show.

I teared up twice. Such was the writing, I was honestly afraid that we might lose Michael Emerson from the show and then later, I was convinced that Ben was going to join Team Smoke.

Sideways wise, this episode was not unlike Sundown - In both timelines, both Sayid and Ben embrace their true nature. Sayid is ultimately not a good person. But Ben is.

And the luscious duality of Richard losing his faith and Jack simultaneously gaining his.

All the hate for Sundown last week bugged the hell out of me - that creative team know exaclty what it’s doing. In Darlton we trust.
