If I’m doing my maths right, today’s news means that Pixar will be given Marvel IPs to work with and Marvel Studios will eventually get its other IPs back from Fox and Sony/Paramount. Both very good deals.

But if anything’s going to help DC/WB get back on track (Batman not withstanding), it’s Disney calling the shots at Marvel Studios. Marvel’s done their best flicks on their own (Fox has ruined X-Men and Sony Spider-man) so being paired up with Disney? I don’t know…

This is probably not that great a news story unless your name is Stan Lee or Avi Arad.
